  160. ===== Installation =====================================

  162. The installation procedure for Z & Z Color is quite simple.  The
  163. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  164. entire process.  You will need about 2 Meg of available disk space
  165. on the hard drive on which you plan to install Z & Z Color.
  166.  
  167. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  168. Z & Z Color.
  169.  
  170.  
  171. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  172.  
  173. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  174.  
  175.    o  If you are not already running Microsoft Windows, start it up.
  176.  
  177.    o  Place Z & Z Color distribution diskette in the appropriate
  178.       diskette drive.
  179.  
  180.    o  Select the File, Run command from the program manager to execute
  181.       the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette. For
  182.       example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type the
  183.       command, "a:install" in the dialog box.
  184.  
  185.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  186.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  187.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  188.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  189.       the Z & Z Color files to that directory.  It will make no other
  190.       changes; specifically, it will not modify your autoexec.bat or
  191.       config.sys files.

  194. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  195.  
  196. If you downloaded Z & Z Color from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  197. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  198. following steps.

  200.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  201.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  202.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  203.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  204.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  205.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  206.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  207.       the package.

  209.    o  Select the File, Run command from the Windows program manager to
